Simple Lemon Tea
Simply put; tea is good and good for you. Here are three simple recipes for good health, and also for cold days and nights. Doing the warm weather, these teas, cooled down and iced down are great of course as ice teas.
Lemon tea Recipe Ingredients
1 lemon (unwaxed)
1 1/2 tablespoons of honey
1 pot of tea (your choice)
Serves 1
Begin by cutting 2 slices from the lemon. With the rest of the lemon, squeeze the juice and place in a small bowl. Next put the lemon slices and honey in a large mug and add the lemon juice. Pour in the brewed tea. Stir well and drink.
Ginger Tea
Ingredients
Small piece of fresh ginger (about a quarter size)
Sugar or sweetener of choice (without is very good also)
1/2 teaspoon leaf tea (optional)
Serves 1
Begin by peeling and grating the ginger. Place a tea ball or tea strainer in a cup. If you are using tea, add it at this point. Pour boiling water in cup and allow this to steep for 2 to 4 minutes. This last step mentioned depends on how strong you want it. Any type of sweetener may be added. The ginger can be used over to make more cups.
Note: if you don't have a grater, just peel ginger and add to cup.
Star Anise Tea
This tea is full of flavor, like licorice or pastis. Although tea is better made from tea leaves, this recipe can be made with a tea bag using your favorite tea.
Ingredients
1 tea Bag (English Breakfast tea is a good choice)
1 star anise (whole)
sweetener, to your taste
Serves 1
Place the tea bag and star anise into a cup. Sweetener, if using one can be added now. Pour boiling water in cup and let steep for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove tea bag, let cool a bit and drink.

I agree Madame X. I love teas and the ginger is very soothing to the stomach. The star anise with its licorice flavor is a nice treat too.
The star anise tea sounds good, will look out for this one.

This is a great hub! I'm going to try your Star Anise and your ginger teas. They sound delicious. I've been a tea drinker forever - coffee's ok - but not like tea! The Yerba Mate is also a good one. It seems to balance your energy after a hectic day, or any day.
