Delicious Nacho Spuds

By

If you're looking for an easy and inexpensive dish to make, why not try the most tasty nacho potatoes ever. This dish can be made for a snack for hungry kids, appetizers for a party, dinner or lunch. This recipe I guarantee will be a keeper for years to come.

Ingredients

2 pounds of potatoes

2  tablespoons of vegetable oil

1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

1/2 teaspoon chili powder

1 can diced green chiles (4 ounce)

1 package cheddar cheese (mild or sharp, your choice)

1 small can sliced black olives

1/2 cup of fresh diced tomatoes.

3 green onions (sliced)

Begin by Preheating your oven to 425 degrees F.

Next cut each potato into 8 wedges. After that, place in a large bowl and add oil and seasonings. Mix and coat potatoes well. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 35 minutes, turning occasionally until potatoes become crisp and brown. Carefully top with chiles, olives, tomatoes, and cheese. Continue to bake for another 10 minutes. Oven temperatures vary, so begin to check after about 5 minutes.(you don't want burnt cheese. Once the potatoes are out of the oven, top with sliced green onions. As a option, salsa and sour cream can be added after serving.

This recipe is for approximately 6 regular size servings. Enjoy!
